No, it’s not “Black Mirror” but Tommy Hilfiger. The American designer has revealed a new collection that tracks every step his clients take. The new collection will incorporate a chip into its clothing that will track the customers’ movements. What’s the idea behind it? The “Xplore chip” promises to offer up rewards based on how much the customers wear the garments – with gift cards and other Tommy items. If the customers don’t like the idea of being tracked by the brand, they can decide to turn off tracking (however, won’t get gift cards and items). This is definitely a new interpretation of tech and fashion.
