Are you currently planning summer trips to destinations such as Asia, Southern Europe and Latin America? The German travel brand MCM offers you a perfect look. For their 40th anniversary they have added a new member to their team: Christopher Raeburn. The British designer has created a collection for MCM that redefines fashion for “global nomads”. It adapts to a modern world of travelling that calls for being – fashionably – equipped. Is this a collection for the modern man? Not only. Raeburn didn’t miss the opportunity to bring a gender-neutral collection to the market. It offers, apart from the typical MCM bags, parkas, t-shirts, sweatshirts, bomber jackets and more. The pieces must not only look good but also be practical at the same time (and yes, they actually are!). Christopher Raeburn’s concept, which ultimately fascinated the MCM founder, stands out. The designer not only convinces us with his interesting safari patterns but also with a clear stance: He urges for more sustainability and fair trade in fashion. This should excite fashion-enthusiastic travelers and inspire them to explore the world with MCM x Christopher Raeburn. And travelers shouldn’t be held back, right? Karim
